Cassidy and I were up pretty late (2:30am) talking and then we woke up at 7:30 to get ready in time for breakfast. Breakfast was actually amazing, best breakfast I've had since I've been here. We had toast, waffles, eggs, sausage, ham, orange juice, fruit, we all ate a ton because apparently we were starving! It was really yummy though.
We packed all of stuff and headed out. We walked to Anne Hathaway's house (Shakespeare's wife not the actress from les Mis you uncultured swine) we didn't want to pay to go inside so we took a few pictures then walked to Trinity Church where Shakespeare, Anne, and I think one of his daughters are buried. Also they had the baptism font where Willie got baptized. It was really cool to see and stand where he had been.
We then walked over and did a river boat cruise on Avon. Our tour guide was funny and it was gorgeous.
After, we split up and some people went to McDonald's while a few of us went to a pub. They had lunch specials so I got a really yummy lasagna for £4! I met up with Jena and the girls and we just walked around to different stores, saw the house where Shakespeare was born and grew up in.
We met everyone at the Dirty Duck for dinner before the play. I just got a brownie because I was still full from the lasagna. We had to wait forever for our check and the wifi was pissing me off haha we made it to the play. We were seeing As You Like It. Everyone's tickets were in different areas but I sat by Kasee and above us were Anna and Lora. It was amazing!!! I had never read the play or heard anything about it. We had sparknoted it and it sounded a lot like Twelfth Night or She's the Man. I'm serious - practically every guy in that play was amazingly beautiful! Orlando was amazing, the fellow that sang with the guitar was amazing, the brother at the end. Oh my it was just such a good play! Kasee and I were fangirling and freaking out the entire play. Stephen was sitting right across from us and he kept sending us snap chats telling us to stop haha not only were all the men hot, the actual play was just so good! Definitely my favorite out of all the ones we've seen. But the men did make it even better haha
We left, grabbed our bags from the hostel, and got on the bus. The bus driver was a douche, got gas after he picked us up instead of before so we had to wait for him, then drove like a maniac. Then he stopped like in some random place in London and was like ok we are here. We were all like um no we aren't... Haha so he finally got us to our flat. It was like2:30 in the morning. I packed for Ireland, FaceTime my dad for his birthday (happy birthday pops), and went to bed. Night!

Day 19: June 27, 2013 Warwick Castle, Blood and Gore, and Ghost Stories
We had to be outside the flat at 8:50 so we woke up at 8:00, got ready, then headed down. I grabbed some dr p and a chocolate muffin for breakfast. We had a tiny bus that we could all barely fit on. I sat by Kasee and we started out doing homework then tried to sleep but that didn't really work out because that bus was the most uncomfortable thing ever. We got to Warwick Castle around 11:30. While Rick was buying tickets, we checked out the gift shop and stuff. We went in and we got food - we were all hungry. I got a burger and fries which was really good. Once everyone finished (by everyone I mean Stephen, Brandon, Tayler, Sam, Kasee, Tash, and I), we went on the Wall Walk. We were a little nervous because it said something like 520 stairs. But YOLO! It was really cool because we could see actually how big the castle is and where all the history happened. The stairs turned out to be kind of scary because they were in those circular turrets so everyone was getting dizzy.
We got to rooms where they had wax people acting like they were doing their jobs from the medieval times - like a blacksmith or a lady doing laundry or knights. They were freakishly real and I didn't like them. We went into the great hall and saw where the kings and queens dined and slept.
Then we walked up the mound and saw the beautiful scenery. We walked down to the peacock gardens and saw eagles and a trebuchet and the peacocks and it's really just beautiful.
We walked through the gift shops and stuff and then met everyone and got on the bus at 3:00. We drove to Stratford. We checked into our bed and breakfast called the Hollies and it was so cute! I was rooming with Cassidy D. Our room was so cute and quaint.
We settled in then met everyone downstairs. A few of us went with Jena, while others went with Rick. We went to the Dirty Duck, a famous pub that all the actors from the Royal Shakespeare Company which was right down the street and where we were seeing Titus Andronicus. I got some BBQ wings, ate some of Jena's nachos, then shared the best brownie ever with Camille. Then we may have ordered another one... Uh... Haha so good!
We then walked down to the theatre and looked through the gift shop and hung out.
We were finally able to go into the theatre and I say by Anna, Kasee, and Missy. Ok the play was so weird! I have never read or heard of it so I was not expecting the blood and rape and people eating their children and Shakespeare killing off everyone at the end... Super weird. It is crazy to me how different Shakespeare's range could be, like he can write Romeo and Juliet and then Titus.
We really wanted some hot chocolate, we tried the Dirty Duck but it was way too crowded. We walked down to this little cafe, Cafe Rouge. The guy was really nice and we stayed for like an hour and a half just talking. Sam told us ghost stories of the place she used to work at in Provo. So when we walked home we were all a little sketched out... Plus Tash left her phone at the cafe so the guy ran after us and I was like who the heck is this guy running after us?! Haha we got back to the bed and breakfast and got ready for bed. Cass and I stayed up and talked until like 2:30 in the morning. It was really fun getting to know her and stuff. Night!
