So last night I showered and tried to read some myths but freaking Sam was super hyper and kept dancing and asking me if she looks like Britney Spears to my reply, "Uh... I don't know." I went to bed around 1:00. I woke up around 9:00 then got ready. I made some eggs which actually turned out to be really good. I went down to class. Brandon was looking for his pen the entire class and couldn't find it. Turns out it was in his hat... He was like geez Chelsea why didn't you see that?! Oops... Pretty much my entire group says my name exasperatedly and holds up their fists. I have no idea where it came from but whatever. Also, my new nick name is Chelsinky. Don't ask because I don't even know. Anyway, I came upstairs and read through stuff for Nate's class then slept until my next class at 12:30. It was super nice. I went down to Nate's class. That class really just makes my brain hurt. I chilled in the living room for a bit then we all met downstairs at 2:15 to go on the Shakespeare walk. Forgive me, I'm going to butcher all of these names because none of us can remember. We saw the church that is shown in the Da Vinci Code so that was cool.
Then we went to this hall where Shakespeare performed the first showing of Twelfth Night which was really cool.
We walked over to the Globe and did a walking tour. We saw them rehearsing Macbeth and like critiquing each other which was really interesting to see. After the tour, we walked over to the cathedral where Shakespeare went to church. It was weird, they wanted us to pay two pounds to take pictures... So that didn't happen.
We then were all starving so we walked around trying to find a place to eat. Missy, Lexi, Jess, Anna, Jena, and I went to Pizza Express.
We got raspberry lemonade which was pretty good and split a margarita and a pepperoni pizza. It was really thin but good. Jess and I split some chocolate which was yummy. Shocker, I spilt on myself... We then walked back to the Globe and got in line for Taming of the Shrew.
We were on the side stage so right up close. I freaking loved it! It's one of my favorite plays. This version was very different - it was an all female cast. So that was weird when they kissed and stuff... But they all played their characters so well that I didn't even notice it. The costumes and music were amazing. I just loved it so much! Taming and Twelfth Night are my favorites so it was really fun. We came home and I tried to Skype/FaceTime Emma and Amanda but we are apparently technologically challenged and I could see and hear Emma, she could see and hear me, I could see Amanda but I couldn't hear her... It was a pain haha hopefully we'll figure it out sooner or later. I made a grilled cheese and facetimed my mom, wished her a happy birthday from the future! I'm blogging and I need to do some homework and stuff. Anyway, night peoples who read this! Have a good one!
