We first went to Frontierland and rode on the Haunted Mansion or the Phantom Manor. It was fun, much darker then the one in California but still had a few similarities.
We then headed over to Main Street and got some muffins and treats from a bakery. We went to Space Mountain and stood in line for a while. Ok Space Mountain was amazing! It was an actual roller coaster like Screamin' in California but it was all in the dark and it was so fast. We went upside down and corkscrews and it was just awesome. We got off and we were all just blown away, we were not expecting that and it was so fun.
We walked through a 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea thing which was kinda lame but ok. We took pictures by the castle, we found a great spot to take pictures with like no crowds walking though and stuff.
We headed over to the Walt Disney Studios Park.
We stood in like for Tower of Terror - I was going to go on it because I didn't want to be alone but it ended up closing down so yay! Haha I didn't have to go!
We stood in like a 30 minute line for a Studios Tour. Really it was just a huge tram that drove you around a parking lot haha the only cool part was when they took us to a special effects lot and they simulated an earthquake, fire, a huge water flood that went over our heads. It was cool. The rest of that "ride" was lame.
We got something to eat - I got some chicken nuggets and a drink. We started to stand in line for Crushes Coaster but it was too long so we left and went over to the Rockin' Rollercoaster. It was themed like And they had really cool signed guitars and records and stuff in the line. We got on and once again were surprised! It was crazy fast! The only thing we didn't like was there was no music - they had been having problems so boo!
After that, I wasn't feeling too hot so while the girls went on Tower of Terror, I did a little shopping - got a Ratatouille hat that says Bon Apetite! For anyone who has ever been to Disneyland with me, this makes perfect sense! I started to get a little homesick because I was alone and in Disneyland which is a major thing in my family so it was a little hard but I got over it haha
We met back up and headed back over to Disneyland. We went over to Indiana Jones. Turns out its just a Rollercoaster (and a crappy one), it had nothing to do with Indiana Jones. The one in California is so much better!
We then went to Thunder Mountain. it was essentially the same thing as the one in California but the mountain was actually in the middle of the lake so we went underwater on the train which was way cool!
We headed over to Fantasyland and did the teacups which are always awesome!
Then we walked through the Alice in Wonderland maze! It wasn't a ride, it was a maze you walked through and they had fun little things to play on and the queen would pop out. It was really cute. Fantasyland was much bigger and it looked like they focused most of their efforts on that area.
We went on Small World. It was smaller and yet it had more countries in it which I found funny. The music was less annoying in French haha on that subject, most of the workers spoke English and most of the rides would alternate between French and English so that was nice. I realized as we were getting off Small World that I had dropped my water bottle and I'm pretty sure it's somewhere on Small World... I'm pissed! Haha
After that, we went to Mainstreet and did some shopping, I got a sandwich. We then just chilled and waited for the firework show.
It started right at 11:00 when the park closed. It focused a lot on Peter Pan and his shadow. They projected everything on the castle and water like in World of Color and had fireworks. It was so cute! They had a lot of French movies like Ratatouille and Hunchback. I liked how they had a lot of lesser-known characters like Fox and the Hound and stuff. The show was so fun, definitely up there with World of Color. Afterward I led the way out of the park while everyone else held onto my backpack so we didn't lose anyone haha we got to the train and Kasee put her backpack in the front and zipped her jacket over it so it looked like she was carrying a very lumpy baby haha we got on the train and got all the way home! I was nervous the trains were going to stop but they didn't which I'm very grateful for! Our hotel is really nice but it is on a very sketchy road just outside of Paris. So walking from the Metro to the hotel at 1:00 in the morning was one of the scariest moments ever! But hey we made it!
(Here are some of the best pictures we took throughout the day - I can get a little crazy at Disney!)
It was such a fun day, definitely the highlight of my trip so far! I'm so glad we got to go! Love you all! Have a great night!
